About the Umbrella Rig (Alabama Rig)

A multi-wire rig with 3–5 swimbaits that imitates a small school of baitfish moving together. The umbrella rig changed tournament fishing when it was introduced — the schooling effect triggers a competitive feeding instinct in predatory fish that a single lure can't replicate. Extremely effective in cold water when bass are feeding on baitfish balls. Note: check local regulations, as some states limit hook count.
